The internet used to be beautiful.
It can be beautiful again.
feedzebra is a minimalist, finite, chronological feed of news and writing from around the world.
Stay informed. Reclaim your time. De-shittify your feed.
Feedzebra ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why, in plain language.
What we collect: basic session information (which sources you follow, read state, and view preferences) stored in your browser; a per-pageload server log tied to your session ID that includes your approximate location (derived from IP address, never the IP itself), device type, browser, and screen resolution, used to keep the site running smoothly and to measure real traffic; and, only if you accept analytics cookies, aggregate, non-identifying usage analytics (e.g. which features are used) to help us improve the product.
Cookies: we use an essential session cookie/local storage to run the site and to log basic visit information as described above, and, only if you accept them via our cookie banner, optional analytics cookies that also track feature usage tied to that same session. You can change your analytics choice at any time from the cookie preferences link in this footer.
What we don't do: we don't sell your personal information, and we don't run targeted advertising.
Your rights: if you are in the EU/EEA (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to access, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to opt out of any data sale or sharing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the Contact form.
This is a plain-language summary; contact us with any questions.
Essential cookies keep Feedzebra working and can't be turned off — this includes logging your session ID with approximate location, device, browser, and screen resolution on each pageload so we can measure real traffic. Analytics cookies are optional and only used, if enabled, to track feature usage tied to that session.
Required for basic site functionality (reading preferences, drawer state) and for logging approximate location, device, browser, and screen resolution per pageload against your session ID. Always on.
Helps us understand feature usage. No targeted advertising, no data sale.
